Introduction
On this page you can information about the project that M. Gomez, V. Hag, J. Lainé and F. Willame undertook as part of the Wireless Networks project course given at the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden). The aim of the project was to investigate the performance of a simple transmitter diversity (STD) scheme proposed by Alamouti.
We produced a simulator written in MATLAB which performs the transmission and reception of data by users in a cellular CDMA network both with and without use of the diversity scheme. This simulator can be downloaded freely through the CVS repository. It is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.
